TIAGRA GAME REELS FISHING

The Shimano Tiagra series has been the bench mark for game reels for a number of years. The range feature a slightly darker, heavier gold anodising, a drilled drag quadrant with a drag curve better suited to Australian conditions, and a new design rubberised power handle. The heavier anodising makes these reels even more resistant to the ravages of salt water, while the click stop drag quadrant permits more precise drag adjustments. The counterbalanced handle falls easily to hand when striking a fish and makes winding easier during the course of a long fight. It’s rubberised ‘tackiness’ combats sweaty palms, which can be a problem during the course of a long fight, especially when fishing more tropical waters. Another major rule of game fishing is that the leverage created by an angler in a chair or stand-up harness with a big marlin, tuna or shark on the end of the line places an enormous amount of pressure on the tackle. So strong is this magnetic liquid that if placed in a container with a magnetic surface it would retain its shape even if the bottom were removed. with super metal super precision machine cut technology Daiwa has achieved its finest design ever, with a precision of 4 times better compared to that of the original model. The drag system is called ATD or Automatic Tournament Drag, this is a new introduction into the Daiwa spinning reel range. The biggest issue with many drag systems is that they are not smooth at the beginning of the drag. ATD rectifies this issue. ATD works like this, at the beginning of a strike the drag starts smoothly, then increases to its pre-set drag rating in a fraction of a second, thus eliminating line breakage at the strike.
