DIFFRENT TYPE OF SHIMANO

TYPE OF SHIMANO FISHING RODS
SHIMANO AQUA TIP 15-24 STD TIP 1 PIECE FISHING ROD LINE WEIGHT 15-24 KG
Shimano’s Aqua Tip range of spinning rods have been arguably one of the best value for money ranges available for fisherman for many years. Designed with a solid integrated tip the eight spinning models and offering a vast range from freshwater to ocean beach, the Aqua Tip range a perfectly suited for most fishing situations. Featuring striking metallic blue, silver and black binds, shaped EVA grips and hooded winches these rods will look great and have reliable tough performance to boot.
SHIMANO TAIPAN EXTREME 7'6'' SNAPPER 6-10 KG SPIN FISHING ROD 2 PIECE
The Taipan is back and deadlier than ever. The Taipan Extreme series all feature Fuji K components and integrated fibreglass tips to increase performance and to keep the weight down, but are still the hard wearing and durable rods that we all associate from the original Taipan. This rod series has retained its traditional bit fishing actions that remains popular anglers,                                         making the Taipan as deadly as the Australian snake it was named after.

SHIMANO IMPACT NXT
The Impact Nano series, which was introduced to Australian anglers last year, has been refined further for 2016, based around the use of Nano 36 Ton Toray graphite rod blanks, which is a refinement of the 24 Ton Toray graphite of previous models. Nano technology involves manipulating graphite on an atomic level, the end result of which is lighter, stronger and more durable blanks. Enhanced casting distance, a more in tune feel for what the lure is doing, increased fish fighting power, and a lightness in the hand that makes a huge difference when fishing all day are the main assets of using this up-spec’d material.

SHIMANO 3 ZERO FISHING ROD
These rods are all about being in tune with what that hard body, vibe, spinner bait or soft plastic is doing down there, transmitting any tap, nudge or bump from structure or fish immediately to the angler’s hands. This is due to the utilisation of nano technology in the high modulus blanks they are built on. As befitting a rod series like this, they all feature Fuji K series ‘Tangle Free’ guides, and the reel seats are of a custom design, combining strength with lightness. The grips are interesting, with a mix of custom cork and EVA combinations, providing longevity and instantaneous strike transmission. Of course the whole sensitivity experience is enhanced by utilising braided line , which these cutting edge rods are perfectly suited to.

SHIMANO CATANA 702 7FT SPIN 2-4KG TWO PIECE FISHING ROD
The Catana rod range have been supplying rods for anglers who are looking for a complete graphite rod, but are not wanting to break the bank. These represent a bargain to fishing fans, as they are not only a complete graphite rod with fast actions, but they also comprise quality component as well.
SHIMANO BACKBONE ELITE GAME FISHING ROD - 24kg
(Fully Rollered) With many years of fantastic captures to their name, the Backbone Elite series of game rods have long been the perfect match for Shimano's TLD and Tyrnos reels. Strength and versatility are key factors. They have the ability to troll lures for marlin and tuna, or to live bait for kingfies and jewfish on inshore wrecks and reefs. No matter what species you chase, these rods can handle it. There are eight models ranging from 10kg right up to 37kg, they come with a variety of guide styles from standard heavy duty fixed guides with and without roller tips, to fully rolled, full blown game rods that cover every situation. All rods feature holographic scale finishes that really set off the graphite composite blank, Slick Butts for easy removal from rod holders when the bite happens, gold anodised Pacific Bay gimbals and reel seats, Pacific Bay guides, and super long and comfortable grips.
